The recovery of the stolen Picasso was almost as mysterious as its disappearance 20 years ago.

Arthur Brand, 50, a Dutch art crime investigator, says he was at home in Amsterdam this month when two men turned up carrying the painting, valued at £21 million, wrapped in bin bags and a sheet.
